After releasing a collaboration with partner in crime Dannic, The mastermind behind Revealed Recordings is back with another collaborative banger, working with another one of his young friends. This time, the Dutchman is working with fellow countrymen Dyro, and American vocalist, Heather Bright. Debuted at Ultra, this track is one of the most anticipated releases of the late spring/early summer season. In fact, Hardwell even used the track as the backing for his UMF 2013 aftermovie, viewable below.

Review: Hardwell @ Heineken Music Hall

Posted: April 28, 2013 by DJ JPH in News

Last night, Hardwell kicked off his world tour, known as “I am Hardwell,” at the sold out Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam. In its entirety, the event was five hours, with a two-hour warm-up set from Dannic, and then a killer, three-hour set from the man himself. While not much is known about Dannic’s set (it was previously listed on 1001Tracklists as 22 IDs), Hardwell’s set was broadcasted live on YouTube, to more than 13,000 viewers. As usual, he made sure to pack his set with lots of exclusive tracks, and some brand-new mashups as well. He also supported his ID tracks with MAKJ, and W&W. One of his biggest premieres of the night however, was his debut and confirmation of his remix for Krewella’s track “Alive”. One thing that I’ve noticed over Hardwell’s progression is his reliance on patterns. For example, he almost always plays Steve Aoki’s remix of “Pursuit of Happiness” into Dada Life’s “Kick Out the Epic Motherfucker”. Well, he did do that, but with some new flair, using DJ Chuckie’s edit “City of Epic Dreams,” and Showtek’s edit using the festival banger, “Epic”. What’s most interesting to me about this set, is how Hardwell closed it. He decided to go on a bit of a hardstyle binge, playing the ENTIRETY of “Get Loose” by Showtek & Noisecontrollers, and having his encore track be the Headhunterz remix of “Spaceman,” together with the “Apollo” vocals. Overall, I think that Hardwell absolutely killed it, and that his tour will be extremely successful. Tracklist and some more commentary after the break!

What do you get when you combine two huge Dutch producers? Dynamo, it’s as simple as that. Originally premiered by Hardwell at his ADE event, Hardwell and Laidback Luke combine styles in an amazing way, creating a track with a sweet sounding melody, leading into an absolutely massive drop. Expect to hear this one tonight at 7 PM Eastern Daylight Time when Hardwell is on the mainstage at Ultra.

Day 2 saw sets from the likes of Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Porter Robinson, Hardwell, Laidback Luke, and Day 2 closer, Deadmau5. I don’t have too much to say other than “WOW!” Tracklists after the break!

First of all, Hardwell releases the official music video for his track “Apollo,” which was a collaboration between the Dutch producer and Australian vocalist, Amba Shepherd. I found it to be quite powerful, but I was having a rough day when I saw it. Check it out for yourselves, the video features the radio edit of the track.

Now, to the remix package. With mixes from Dash Berlin, Lucky Date, Noisecontrollers, and Psychic Type, Hardwell succeeds once again in providing a great variety of artists to remix his tracks. Unlike the “Spaceman” remix package, there are other official house remixes on this EP. Read up after the break!
