NEWER EDIT: It is now confirmed that this is a collaboration between Martin Garrix and another artist. However, at this point, the second artist is entirely unknown. Possibilities include Sidney Samson, Bassjackers, and even Dillon Francis. Stay tuned, we’ll give you the latest as soon as we figure it out.

EDIT: With new information found on May 5, 2013, this track has been identified as Martin Garrix and Sidney Samson, making their second collaborative track. Keep an eye on the Dutch youngster Garrix, after his collaborations with Julian Jordan, and Jay Hardway, The 17-year-old seems poised to drop more music on us, announcing that he is working on two tracks together with American moombahton aficionado Dillon Francis.

We all know the usual system of promotion that DJs use these days. Once they finish a track, they play it in the sets as an ID, then once it gets signed, they release a teaser through their record label. It seems like the reverse is happening here, as Spinnin’ Records released a teaser for a track titled “Animals” with absolutely zero information about the artists. While there is much suspicion, and a few commenters offering suggestions, all we know for sure is that this is NOT a new Hardwell track (he commented saying “It’s NOT my track guys, so you know!”). This new banger features the now ever-popular minimal style drop, a heavy bass kick with a few synth notes on top of it. This track is definitely festival-ready, especially with its “motherf-cking animals” sample before it drops.

My best guess is that this is a track involving GTA, possibly with Showtek, W&W, or Martin Garrix. Everything else about this track is a mystery: it has never been played before. Keep an eye on Spinnin Record’s social media in case more information gets released, I will be sure to update this post as I get more information.
